I think sometimes people doubt if I am a mother of two.  

 

Yesterday in church, I met another mother in the nursing room.  You always start with the usual "how old is your baby?" dialogue. So she did her round, then it was my turn to ask and I went

 

Me: Your baby is .. err 6 months?

She: No!! he is only 7 weeks.

 

And my comeback line was "oh! He looks really big!"

 

Next time I shall stick to "how old is your baby?"

 

I told Funj when I got out of the nursing room and he laughed till the cows come home... thanks honey.

 

I am relatively apathetic when it comes to politics and social economics issues.  But I really need to get this out of my system!!

 

Yesterday, I opened the paper and my first reaction was "what!?! They get paid holidays?"... then as I read further "what!?! To ANY destination once per year".  Am I just naive or this only happens in Malaysia.  How come I have to not only pay for my own holiday but also pay for theirs? And yearly???

 

 

So basically, the government is now advising us (in response to the recent petrol price hike) to change our life style by planting our own vege in our backyard (for my case, in pots out at the balcony) while the government will help out by not going to Europe for holiday but to Hong Kong instead.  Do we really look that stupid?!?  Ohh we we all should be sooo grateful for what they are "sacrificing"!! "

 

Is that puke on the floor!!!?!!

 

Anyway, what is entertainment allowance anyway? As far as I know company gives entertainment allowance to entertain customers, the government's customer is the rakyat! So I don't remember anyone from the government ever taking me out for a drink?  Do you?
