I bought the pink item at the bottom of the shelf in the pix from Living Quarters during Christmas last year.  It looked like it was on sale with the big LESS 20% sign shouting.  When I got to the counter, the amount came out to be full price.  I told the cashier it's listed 20% off, she told me only those on the upper shelves are on sale.  I told her they should remove the sign as it was misleading.  I think I was clam and polite but she got so defensive and upset, "I didn't put it there, the promoter put one".  I then asked to see the promoter, she said he is not around in such grouchy manner I thought she would throw the receipt to me.  I wasn't happy first of all at the in misleading sales tag, then the attitude of the cashier.  For the latter, I just decided to overlook it, she may be just having a bad day. But for the first case I wanted to report to Consumer Bureau or atleast make a complain to the company, hence I took the picture.  I felt like Malaysian consumers are so passive that we are always taken advantage of.  I am quite sure we have a Consumer Bureau in Malaysia but just wasn't sure if it's an effective one... or functional one for that matter.  But procrastination has gotten the better of me... till today I haven't done anything... and not like I'll do anything in the near future. So much for my effort to make our country a better place.

On the 5th Jan 2008.  All the Hiews (spanning 4 generations) gathered at my aunty's apartment next to KLCC for a day of food, chat and frolic.
